Hi Phil,

thx for your report.
Is the problem solved or do you still see the error message? Would be great if you could post date and time when the error occurred, we will compare them with our error log files and have a look.

Hi Pam

I have just retried today 10.05.2000 at 12.04.p.m.GMT and got the same message.

"An error occurred!
A system error has occurred. The requested contents can't be displayed.
Please try again in a few minutes and contact the administrator, if this error persists"

I am trying to move a thread from one forum board to another and it just won't do it.

Hi Phil,
thx for the quick response. One more question: did the error occur directly after moving the thread? So it is not possible to move... Or did it show up after moving the thread in the general overview? Could you please post the thread url additionally? Thx.

I'll try to explain as best I can, after I try to move the thread I get the message and nothing has moved. I am trying to move this thread http://205004.xobor.com/t170f17-PHOTOGRAPHY.html from the Odds & Sods Forum to the Gardening Hobbies & Holidays Forum.

Hi Phil,

tried to replicate the problem and moved your thread into the gardening / hobbie forum, which worked without an error message. So which browser do you use? I used Firefox 3.6.3,

Hi Phil,

ok I think I know what the problem was. Did you try to move the thread directly into a category? Then the error occurs. It's necessary to have a forum in a category, where you can move the thread to. I agree that we have to edit the error message due to it's confusing. Please try to move a test thread from one forum into another, that should work (even with IE8 :), thanks.
