Wow, i never knew my German lessons would come in handy! I'll tell you what it means, but i'm sure Ingmar and the rest of the Xobor team will fix it. It means:
"A temporary error occurred in the forum This is usually a temporary error. Please refresh this page again in 30 seconds.
A technician was informed at the same time to the notice of error."
I hope that translation is more or less correct, my German isn't 100% accurate.

Thanks for the reply John. Speaking of moderators, could you guys possibly add a global or super moderator group?
I myself did not give the person admin rights on my forum, my assistant admin did this. But you are right in syaing that it was not technically hacked.
Again, thanks for the reply.

Xobor are constantly tweaking the features, for example, now IP banning is allowed (this was implemnted at the most recent update, which came online yesterday i believe).

Xobor are very buisy Paudie. They only have one technician here to help, and he is involved in the improvement of Xobor's services. We just had an update to the software, which is why he has not been online. Patience!
Posted by Spinosaur KingBanning an IP-range is not possible with the current implementation. We simply couldn't find one good example why someone would need this... If you give me one, we might implement this in the future The error message - and any other text elements - can be changed in "Admin -> Template Development -> Languages" [quote]Sorry for being a pain, but im full of questions today :)
Don't worry about it, thats what I'm here for
I CAN actually give a reason for IP range banning :) Many people do not have static IP's and if a troll keeps signing up with IP's between 90.254.0-999, for example, that range could be banned to prevent that user from accessing.
And thanks for the info about changing the message, i will be using it when the new feature is implemented (when will this be, again?)
So, an IP banned user can still view all topics, but cannot post, and once they log out, they cannot log back in again or sign up? That sounds fine, as long as they cannot post in PM's, or on ythe forum i'll be happy :)
Great! It sounds cool. Once IP banning is implemented, will i be able to ban an IP range, and how will i be able to change the error message seen? Sorry for being a pain, but im full of questions today :)
Thanks alot. I really cannot tell you how much i appreciate this. I have recently had trouble with a user who troll's via different accounts, and the ability to IP ban would really help out. I'll be keeping an eye open for this new feature. Thanks again,
Thanks for suggesting it. I personally think that the option to select a set date for a ban to expire would be very useffull, especially since, at the momment, we have to un-ban users manually, which can be boring sometimes.
About the translation. I always wondered what that was for, now i know! Thanks very much for that, i will be using that more often when i need to move users to different groups, or to ban. While we are on the topic of banning, i want to ask you something.
I have asked this before, but is there a chance Xobor will i implement an IP ban feature? Because of the problems with changing IP's, it is possible for IP range blocks, where, in an IP ban field, an admin or moderator could add a * as a wildcard to block a range. I'll give an example: If you wanted to ban/block the range 100.234, you would type in 100.234.*.* into the field. The * stand for the missing parts of the IP, allowing for a range ban.
Is it possible for this feature, or something similar to it to be intergrated in the future?
Cheers,
Spinosaur King
