Ok so I created a forum about 3 weeks ago, and have had very few problems, except for one. People have reported not being able to edit their own posts after it has been replied to. I checked their user rights and it's the same for every person except for guests who can only see and post on one thread.
Another question, this isn't really a problem, but I was wondering if their is anyway to put a music playlist on our profiles, just to make it feel more personal. Up until now we have just been putting up videos of the songs we want, but it would not take up as much space if we were able to use a playlist instead. The FAQ says HTML wont work (which we tried anyway) but we can't find anything that uses non-HTML code. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I had the same trouble with my forum members and found the answer to be as follows ----
Go into Admin menu - 'Users' tab - click the "Members" hyperlink - scroll down to "Edit own posts" - click into the "In the space of" box and change to "any time" - remove the tick from the "Until answered" box - Click the Save button.
You'll have to make the same change for your Moderators (if any) and for any other Groups you may have created.

Try using your custom signature space, as that'll stay the same with every post each member makes until they change the playlist themselves. Note that signature changes don't propagate backwards on this (rather excellent) host, so its usefull in lots of ways. You might not be able to use html, but you can use the [ url ] tags to link to externaly hosted files
