how is it possible to add a 'copy these letters into a box' or 'answer this question' options etc.... one main criticism of my members is that its far too easy for people to sign in and for viruses to spread.. any suggestions???

Check out Admin → Preferences → Security for the captcha-settings and Admin → Users → Groups for new member activation settings
