I would like to know how to make custom profile settings. I can get the text box, but I want to be able to make selections. I would also like to know how to make it to be shown in posts. Can you please help me? Thnx

I'm afraid that's not possible at the moment.

Custom profile settings are currently shown in the user profile only.
With the next update, these settings will be made available in the memberlist as well, but not in posts.
