thanks for the request. We have discussed this and have to say no to the request. Our three layers version (category → forum → subforum) works fine and is not going to be changed in a way that you can create a forum in a forum in a forum and so on.

But: You can create another free forum and link it with your forum (i.e. in a forumtitle, so if your members click on the forum title, they were directed to the other forum and find another three layers there).

In your Forum A: Go to admin → forum → create a forum for the redirect and name it, i.e. with "Click here and go to forum B".
Then click on "Ja" by "redirect" → fill in the URL from forum B → click on save and go back to the forum (A). If you now click on the forum named "Click here and go to forum B", you will be redirected to forum B. If your members are logged in in forum B as well and have set a cookie, they don't have to log in all the time while changing (but they need an account for forum A and one for forum B, but it can be the same nickname).

You can redirect forum B with forum A and forum A with forum B, so your members can change the forums by one click.
