    Why when a new member registers in English on an English registration page are they sent a confirmation email in German. How do I ensure that all prospective and existing members only see text in English

    I am trying to re-open interest in an esisting forum but the German text is putting of many people who would have rejoined if the text was in English. Help please


    Do you have a template that ensures all German text translated to English

    Good morning Alice. I have changed the template on my forum and I find I have quite a few German words in the text. Is it possible you can change them to English please

    At the bottom of the Blog page it has Allgermein. The word Gallerie appears in the Activity feed and Albums And I can not understand the German text in the Admin section for The last 10 Modulator action settings.

    Is it possible to create an area in the forum where one can deposit files and downloadable material for members to download, or do I just create a post and embed the file in the post. It would be a great advantage to have all the resources in one place for ease of finding. If possible please can you explain how.

    Many thanks for that Alice It works well. Just one more question. Is there any e-mail feed for new posts to members. A few members have asked if they can get e-mail notification of a new post to the board. I know I get one for new members. If not possible would it be a good addition to the functionality.

    We intend that our forum will become "Private" in that all the "Guest" permissions will be de-activated. My dilemma is now how do new members register if they cannot see the forum. In our old forum it was possible to send a direct admin invitation to an email address and this allowed registration as a member without any further action. Is it possible to directly invite new members, or is there any way they can arrive at the registration page once we are private.

    Must I leave at least one forum open to be read by guests?

    Many thanks for that Alice. I understand how to insert a video from the net but how do you post a video you have taken which does not have a URL. Do I have to post it somewhere else first then link to our doggie site?.

    Many thanks. The problem seems to have righted itself and the forum displays correctly now. I prefer the Maxthon browser to IE it is similar but more secure. As for the activity feed the members seem to prefer it off They say it is a bit intrusive and distracting at the top of the Forum . Getting to grips with the settings for this forum now although still finding some of the wording is in German. I just shove it through the translator. Really like the setup, you have done a good job, the members like it better than the previous Multiply Forum (Closing in Dec) While here can I ask if there is anyway to insert video,s in the posts or create a video library. There is a few video's and pics on the old forum that members would like to keep

    Many thanks it now appears to search in English and does not display the NOT Found in German. However now this forum is displaying without the formatting. Quite strange really. Just have black text on white background. Could be my browser as I use "Maxthon"

    Also is there anyway to show when a picture album has been updated? it does not appear in the "Latest posts" other than in the Activity feed which my members seem to hate so they have asked for it to be switched off.

    Hi just created a forum (Norweian Elkhounds of the United Kingdom) and I am getting complaints that the search facility is in German, also some of the functionality features in the Administration are in the German language. Is it possible that I can change it to English. Or shall I book me some lessons on learning German, I can speak French and Italian but that does not help. Anyway many thanks for this excellent facility, once I have mastered it and got it running right I will look at upgrading.
