no, the imprint must be shown.

Our imprint is a picture, so crawler couldn`t read it. It isn`t shown in google or something, but it has to be shown on your page if something on your page went wrong and sb. wants to contact you.

We are a German based forum hoster and what you consider to be "personal confidential information" is actually mandatory contact information required by law for every German website.

For that matter we do not have a simple "Show imprint" yes/no-Option available in the forum administration.

However, since you are obviously not running a German website and different laws may apply in your country, you are free to take steps to hide or disable the imprint yourself.
The easy way to do this is to just hide it with a CSS Addon (Admin→Layout→Colors & Settings→CSS)

However, that only hides the div containing the address.
If you want to completely remove the imprint from your page you will have to edit the FAQ-Template directly. (Admin→Template development)

Since all the information is included in an image to prevent screen scraping you can only show or hide the complete data.

You could however just hide the information on the faq page and add whatever contact information you would like to be public somewhere else in the forum (i.e. the header/footer section).
